We Passed The First Week

I feel like we got an A grade for effort. Remember I said my daughter lost a few pounds last week. I say remember because eventually someone will read the blog. LOL She lost 2.2 pounds! The nutritionist came and told me today while Girly was exercising. She said that was great and what had we been doing. I told her that we stopped the sugary juices and sweet snacks and we are using the plate. The nutritionist came out later with a recipe for chicken nuggets made with corn flakes she said 'since you are cooking more, you can try these.' :) I am glad we got into this program.

YAY FOR TEAM W! And I remembered to take a whole chicken out to defrost. I will put it in the crockpot tomorrow so it will be ready by dinner time. My husband said to take the skin off before seasoning since we shouldn't eat the skin. I understand the logic but can you 'de-skin' a whole chicken? Will it get dry? Even if I could, do I want to do that at 5:00 in the morning? NOT! LOL
