Good On Program Day

Breakfast Update: My daughter had the turkey sausage, yogurt and an orange. I guess I got my meals mixed up yesterday because I did not write on the breakfast board, bread or milk :) Anyway, she said that it kept her satisfied until lunch, so that is a good thing. I had to switch from the eggs because I ran out of time to boil them. So, she is having low sugar oatmeal and fruit this morning.

Do you ever have one of those "good motherhood" days? Where the kids are sweet, there are no arguments, you may only have to raise your voice once or twice and it reminds you how wonderful your children are? I had one of those yesterday.

We had a good food day. First, I was happy about the breakfast idea that worked. The kids didn't complain about their packed lunch.  My son didn't even have a fit about the Crystal Light juice in his thermos. He is usually against it.  The kids had the Smart One's Lasagna for dinner and a salad. We have those once a week. It gives me a day off from cooking and it is low calorie. I have to check the sodium. But once a week is not bad. It is better than McDonalds. When I went to the grocery store, my son still asked for a donut but I said no and he only whined a few seconds:) My daughter did not ask for a muffin. How wonderful was that?! She also did not eat the pop tart snack from aftercare. I am so proud of her!

She went to exercise class and she still likes going there.  We came home and she didn't ask for a snack.  I think she used to do that out of habit.

The rest of the evening they were just sweet and quiet. I love them :)

Today will probably be different because I ran out of the juice packets and had to give them water in their Thermos. *lol* I did still put it in the cute thermos' and not just a plain water bottle. But I am still going to hear it.  I even gave my non-eating fruit son an apple. Maybe he will surprise me one day and eat it:)

Right before bed, I read this post from my best friend and how she doesn't want someone to put her on 'Hoarders'.  I cracked up because she really thinks someone will try to put her on there.  Her house isn't as bad as she thinks it is but she watches that show too much. lol
