Easier to Run

We had a great 'on program' weekend! We ate well on both days.  Yesterday, we went to my parents house which usually means eating way too much of the wrong thing.  I was one step ahead of myself, I ate before I went and I packed the kids lunch and snacks.

Before we went over to my parents, my husband had the kids help him take the trash out.  The kids ran back and came in and my daughter sat down. I asked her if it was easier to run since the program and she gave me a thumbs up and said "yes". YAY! That made me happy.  One of her goals at the beginning was to be faster.  She is on her way.

Let's pray that the kids make it through the week without any major slip-ups. It is Spring Break and they will be home with my husband.  I have healthy snacks and lunches.  Some days they will eat leftovers.  We are having cheeseburgers today and I told them this but I didn't mention that it will be lean ground turkey and not ground beef and fat free cheese on wheat hamburger rolls. lol We will see if they notice a difference.
